Travelling to the Venue

By Public Transport

  • Train: The closest train station is Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. It is less than half a mile away, approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the college.
  • Tram: The nearest tram stop is located at St Andrew Square. Trams provide frequent connections to and from Edinburgh Airport in around 40 minutes and it’s just a short walk to the College.
  • Bus: Several local bus stops are located very close to the College, including Hanover Street, Thistle Street, and Dublin Street, which are all just a 2-3 minute walk away. Bus lines 100, 11, 29, 3, 31, 33, and X33 stop nearby. The main bus station is also only a 5-minute walk away.

By Road

  • Driving/Taxi: The College is approximately an 8-mile drive from Edinburgh Airport, which takes around 25 minutes by taxi. Taxis can drop off and collect directly outside the main entrance on Queen Street.
  • Parking: There is no on-site parking available at the College.
    • Metered on-street parking is available on Queen Street and surrounding streets, with a maximum stay of three hours (08:30-17:30).
    • Multi-story car parks are available nearby. The closest is the St James Quarter Car Park (approx. 7 minute walk) and Q-Park OMNI (approx. 10-13 minute walk).
