About NACCS
The NACCS Council consists of three executive officers, six members and the immediate past president. The Council meets three times a year in central London.
The Neuroanaesthesia Society was the first sub-specialist group of anaesthetists to be formed and in September 2025 it will have been in existence for 60 years.

The Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care Society Lifetime Achievement Award is given in appreciation of a career devoted to research and teaching of the science and practice of Neuroanaesthesia or Neurocritical Care or outstanding service to the Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care Society.
The aim of the NACCS Link-Doctors Scheme is to maintain links and facilitate communication between members throughout the UK and Ireland and NACCS.
